About Jessica Santascoy

Hi, I’m Jessica.

I’ve been teaching for 12 years.

I completed 1,600 hours of training. This consisted of 3 hours a day, 5 days a week for 9 months out of the year. The training was 3 years total. Teachers who are certified by the American Society of Alexander Technique Teachers (AmSAT) almost always have the 3-year training.

I studied for a year and a half at the Alexander Educational Center in Berkeley and a year and a half at the American Center for for the Alexander Technique (ACAT) in New York City. My teachers and trainers include Robert Britton, Giora Pinkas, John A. Baron, Brooke Lieb, Judy Stern, Daniel Singer, Barbara Kent, Joan Frost, Hope Martin, and Kim Jessor.

I also studied voice with Beret Arcaya in New York City and Ruth Murray and Alan at the Constructive Teaching Centre in London.
